Developer

In this Woodsett Homes case study, MBS collaborated with a South Yorkshire-based property developer. We focused on constructing one of their housing developments. This development is located in Blyth, a village near Worksop in the East Midlands. It features easy access to the A1 motorway.

Our role in the project involved supplying the ideal brick for five prestigious detached properties. The chosen brick needed to be consistent and possess character. Additionally, it required good kerb appeal to enhance the overall aesthetic.

Construction moved forward using our handmade Newlyn Heritage Blend as the brick of choice for the five properties. This brick has a creased appearance and displays various red and white shades. These shades blend together effectively, helping to avoid a distinct contrast. This uniformity helped tick the box for Woodsett in terms of a brick that is consistent across each build. In terms of kerb appeal, Woodsett Homes have described the final products as “a private cul-de-sac combining characterful brick-built designs with beautiful modern interior layouts.”

You can see how our stock was incorporated into the builds at Orchard Grove. The Newlyn Heritage stock pairs well with a lighter yellow cement. Meanwhile, the roof, window panes and other features accentuate the build with a darker focus, opting for black.

The final results of the build are stunning. They showcase the luxury and expertise that Woodsett aimed to achieve in their initial plans for the development. MBS are committed to working with housing developers to help build new housing in the UK. Teaming up with MBS can provide you with a partner who can keep you one step ahead, developing sustainable and future proof developments.

This brick I wanted is seen across London and the South East and has a history dating back 300 years, meaning I had a match for the historical context of the build.
